Aunt Leslie
Dear beautiful Maureen,
When I think of you, I see that funny wry smile.
One of the proudest moments I remember was when you played violin with your group at the school concert. And the times we shared the merits of eating healthy and exercising.
You would tell me about your work with Greenpeace. I was amazed how you seemed to fearlessly canvas the city, engaging people in your passion.
You touched and taught everyone you met.
I was always hoping we could get back to talking and laughing. But I know somewhere out there lives on your sweet, loving soul, free of pain and struggles.
Wishing you peace and love, Maureen. I miss you.
With all my love,
Your Aunt Leslie
